Which centers are listed in this directory?
Licensed facilities that provide medical detox or addiction treatment and hold the certifications required to operate in their state. Listings are editorial — providers cannot pay to appear.
Does it cost anything to use the directory?
No. Searching, browsing, and calling facilities directly is free, and there is no obligation to enter any program you contact.
How do I know if a listing is up to date?
Details come from SAMHSA's national treatment locator and are refreshed periodically. If a center has closed, moved, or changed names, let us know through the contact page and we will review it.
Do I have to call the helpline number?
Not at all. Every listing shows the facility's own phone number so you can call the program directly. The helpline is only there if you would rather talk through options with someone right away.
Can a treatment provider pay for placement?
No. We do not sell listing positions or accept payment to rank a facility higher in search results.
Can I leave a review of a center?
Reviews are not open yet. Ratings shown on listings summarize publicly available feedback, and we will announce a review feature when it launches.
Is my search private?
Searches are not tied to an account and we do not require you to enter personal details to browse or view a facility's phone number.
